(This went longer than I planned, but I just got started writing and realized I had to cover 2 things at once.)
I come into this game as it starts with sort of an idea of some things that I have to focus on doing and not doing, and I have a bizarre sense of relief in being able to tell that most of the people I'm playing against are most probably selfish, and a bit of a combination of fake with occasional "asshole" thrown in there. As screwed up as it sounds, that's actually a plus if people see working with me as being totally in their favour and something that only they get something from as opposed to it benefitting me.
One thing I have to worry about though, is communication. While I genuinely have a legitimate enjoyment in talking to people, getting to know them and seeing what's up to the point that I'd talk to my real life friends, or people on my AIM contact list or whatever the case may be for 5 or 6 hours at a time every day, not everybody is that kind of person and some people need their space. I have to be the one to adapt my communication style, how often I talk to people, and the way I go about things to suit what makes them want to work with me, and I can't stay stubborn and expect them to bend to change for me.
Out of the people I've talked to so far (which is pretty much everyone except for Dixie, Krystal and Aneal save 2 very brief exchanges), I'd say I get along with Andrew the best. He doesn't seem too "out there", seems relatively calm an easygoing, and while I don't know how he'll fare comp-wise, he's pretty active if nothing else. We both noticed that Greg seems to be careful with what he says (which hilariously enough, is usually my gimmick from what people tell me). I get along with Alec too, but it's kind of a bit early I feel for me to say I'd fully trust him 100% since he seems like he might be potentially hard to get a read on. I cautiously like Estelle and Talla, but both seem like they might wind up throwing down and going into business for themselves when it comes dowon to it, so I may need to watch out.
Lastly, one odd thing was how Suzette and Liza decided to co-flirt with me and then be all "I hope you're not leaving me for her!" at the exact same time when talking of the other one. Now, that could be the world's most coincidental thing ever, which isn't bloody likely, or they got bored and worked it together thinking it'd be an OTT fun thing to do. That being said, they're coming across as relatively close even taking stuff like that out of the equation, so in the future I'll have to make sure that I tell both of them the same thing.
