Hey Jurors!
First I want to thank everyone who contributed to this game, it was a blast and both Kat and Shir did a wonderful job at hosting for us, and all of the Housecalls that contributed did a mighty fine job as well. Second, Dixie - thank you for bringing me to the final 2 and giving me the opportunity to plead my case as to why I should win the game. Good luck to you as well! Let's do this!
I feel as though my gameplay varies drastically between my beginning game and my endgame, so I'll separate my opening to indicate such. Let's begin with my beginning game.
With the Aussie side being immune for two weeks in a row, I used my time as an opportunity to start socializing with the Canadian side. This is when I formed my early bonds with Andrew, AJ, Liza, and Talla. AJ and Andrew especially would tell me what was going on from the Canadian side of the house and this paved the way for the future AJ/Andrew/Estelle/Liza alliance around the merger AND the AJ/Andrew/Estelle/Talla alliance a little later in the game, that would save me. The duo round is what really pushed me to working with the Canadians (AJ/Andrew has HOH and my partner being Liza).
My beginning game mainly consisted of me setting myself up for the future. For example at the beginning, I got in really well with both warring sides-- Andrew and Ryan. Later on in the game, I was able to bring the two warring sides to a peaceful standstill and we formed a 3some alliance.
I was always involved in the big moves because people felt they needed me to make them happen or I was just social enough to be around and involved. I was "in the know" about the Canadian situations before the duo round. I was involved with the potential backdoor of a rumored alliance during the duo round, which never happened (because Andrew and I didn't want the Veto to be used). Finally, I was involved in the Liza blindside. I will say though it was not my idea, nor did I think it was the best move for Andrew, but I did know what was going on, since Ryan pushed for it, and this was my "in" to making Andrew and Ryan work together.
As you can see, my beginning game comprise of me primarily setting myself up for the future, which paid off.
Finally came the time when I wanted to make big moves in this game, which I feel I was able to do. No longer was I a "behind the scenes" player, but I became a forefront player in the eliminations of Rory, Krystal, Ryan, and Talla: all of which went how I planned. At the final 8 I wanted to break up the people I wasn't close to (Rory/Krystal/Talla) and to do that, I spread (what I believed to be true) rumors that Rory/Talla were close and I got everyone on board to split them up. The following week when Talla heard what I had done she almost put me up. Instead, I was able to form a foursome with her, Andrew, and AJ thanks to my social ties from the beginning of the game I had mentioned earlier. However I didn't want Ryan out just yet since I was aligned with him and NOT Krystal, so Andrew and I threw the POV to Ryan and I knew I'd likely go up, but I used this as my excuse to target Talla, since I felt confident I'd stay with Andrew and AJ's vote (and Talla's in the tiebreaker due to our alliance. Luckily, Dixie pulled through for me as well so it didn't come to that, and I didn't "owe" Talla for keeping me in the tiebreaker.)
When Andrew (my final 2 alliance member) won HOH I knew his nominations wouldn't match up with what I wanted. He wanted Ryan and Talla around, but I wanted AJ and Dixie since I felt they'd both take me to the end. When I won POV, I made a deal with Dixie to backdoor the replacement if I vetoed her, and so Ryan went up and out (Talla had nominated me the week prior and Ryan evicted me the week prior, which gave me more reason to evict them over AJ/Dixie, who not only kept me, but who would also take me to the end.)
At final 5 I knew I wanted Talla out, but by nominating Andrew next to her, it diluted any possible rumor that Andrew was my F2, even though he was. With this perception tarnished, I was able to get Talla out with AJ's and Dixie's votes and then at final 4 Dixie saved me with the POV where I unfortunately had to get my hands dirty by evicting AJ, and lying to Dixie saying I'd evict Andrew.
At the final 3, I won the endurance (or the "how-much-do-you-want-it?" competition), and Dixie narrowly beat out Andrew in part 2. Then in part 3 I choked in the last 2 questions and Dixie came back to win, where she was planning on evicting me, since I told her straight up I was probably taking Andrew (I thought it was obvious at this point). After an emotional breakdown of sorts, apparently I was able to convince Dixie to take me to the end (I was blindsided!), where unfortunately for "Andrelle," she sent the beast Andrew out of the game.
I feel I played a very social, strategic, and strong game. I made big moves when the time was right, and I fought my hardest to get to the end. I embodied every aspect I can think of when it comes to Big Brother. Yes, I lied. Yes, I manipulated. Yes, I did everything it took to make it to the end, but at the end of the day, it's a game of Big Brother and that's what it's all about. I felt I connected with many of you and it sucked evicting almost all of you, but I hope you can understand that it was all for the game.
I wish you all the best of luck with your decisions, and I look forward to hearing what each of you has to say and answering any questions you may have for either of us. Thank you!
