This upcoming Head of Household is ridiculously paramount and important. By evicting Talla over Andrew, I took a huge risk on Dixie and myself being able to beat Andrew and make sure he doesn't win HOH or POV. Fortunately, he hasn't really been as successful in POV competitions as he's been in HOH's, but that doesn't change that he's a monster when it comes to HOH competitions. The man's won 4 of them and I feel like this is some giant underdog situation here. It's the guy who keeps coming so close vs the dominator. When it comes to winning this though, it's so much more than thinking "it'd be nice to win this", or "I really want to win this". Put bluntly, I NEED to win this HOH, there is no question of "can I", "do I want to", or any of that, because I need to win this so that there's still hope of getting Andrew out this round and of me winning. If he makes it to the Final 3, I find it incredibly hard to believe he wouldn't just win the Final HOH and the game.
With this competition being something that is going to require me to remember everything about stuff that happened in the game and all that kinda stuff, I feel like I actually have a good chance and that my hours spent looking over stuff on the board might actually pay off.
Does anybody by chance know of an Exorcist or whatever? I think I might have a curse I need lifted.
At least Dixie won it and I'm not on the block though, so there's that. Of course, Veto's what matters, so if there's something up there, may I at least win that.
Well, I'd like to start off by saying that nobody should take anything I've said in these DR's to heart or to be any sort of reflection of what I think of them as a human being.
That being said, I kind of expected this when Estelle was taking exceptionally long for what should have been a short and simple Eviction where Andrew goes home. I don't blame her for making a side F2 with him around the time Suzette and Liza went home, because frankly, the guy had won a bunch of comps then and it made sense to use his brawn to her advantage. Of course, the issue with her is that people in the jury will likely have seen Andrew's brawn as a better game than they would have seen my brains on account of it being more in your face and flashy. And Estelle's not stupid, so there realistically is no way that she wouldn't know that.
I also have to think that Estelle would know her best chance at winning is to take Dixie to the F2, and her best chance of doing that would have been to have me in the Final 3 HOH, on account of it giving her the biggest chance of winning it. That being said, even with a "Secret F2 from the 'merge'" with Andrew, she had a F2 with me from literally Day 2 so that y'know, kinda precedes it. I DID tell Dixie that she should have kept the nominations the same, and I stick by that, and almost blame Dixie more for my eviction for not going with what she knows (or should have at least known), being that I would evict Andrew. It's a little frustrating that Andrew gets to stick around because he has that bit of luck to get that extra 1 point, or those extra 5 seconds, or whatever it is, after all the stuff I've done for Estelle the entire game. But, she just gave no shits and kind of dropped the bomb.
However, I have to admit, I was suspicious when she didn't Veto me the first time, and knew something was messed when she Veto'd Dixie instead of me for the simple reason that she claimed not to trust that I'd evict Ryan. he knew ow I was going to vote then, just as there's no way she didn't know I would take her to the F2. Either way, thanks to Kat and Shir for an awesome game, and I guess it goes to show what I always said and knew. When you play with Fire, you get burned.
At the end of the day, I had fun, so I can gladly leave happily and proud, with my only regret being that none of my "almost-won" comps, turned into "won" comps.
Mr Morrissey, take it away.
